Flash:
Best Seat in the House
This story is an elaborate set-up for a terrible, terrible joke. The author laughed out loud when he wrote it.

Skipping Stones on the River Styx
Caleb swears that this story is the last one he will write where "someone not wearing pants" is a major plot device.

Vaughan Stanger

Vaughan Stanger, who has had stories published in issues 1, 5 & 7 of Speculative 66, has a new short story collection available at Amazon, Smashwords and other popular online stores. Reeves Indeed! collects all of Vaughan’s ‘Reeves’ all-dialogue flash SF pieces, which depict the misadventures of a robot butler and his master in a series of ever more bizarre episodes. Four of the stories have been published previously, although not in an ebook format. The fifth, ‘Speak for Yourself’, was written specially for this collection and concludes the series. Reeves Indeed! can be pre-ordered ($0.99 +sales tax) at https://www.amazon.com/Reeves-Indeed-Vaughan-Stanger-ebook/dp/B0759D5RKK/ orhttps://www.smashwords.com/books/view/745909 (amongst others). The release date for this ebook is 2 October, but it is available to pre-order now.

Vaughan’s other SF collections, Moondust Memories and Sons of the Earth, can also be found on Amazon, Smashwords, etc.
